Overview
A digital health startup needed to build a telemedicine platform that could deliver clinical-grade video consultations at scale. Existing solutions were either too expensive, lacked proper HIPAA compliance, or delivered poor video quality on low-bandwidth connections common in rural areas.
We built a HIPAA-compliant telemedicine platform with WebRTC-based video consultations, integrated EHR access, e-prescribing, and a patient portal. The system uses adaptive bitrate streaming and custom TURN servers to ensure reliable video quality even on 3G connections.

Implemented Insertable Streams API for true E2E encryption of video and audio. Encryption keys are exchanged via a HIPAA-compliant key management service.
